Above the Town is a contemporary bluegrass ensemble, blending a mixture of
traditional bluegrass sounds with Celtic influences, jazz, and swing.
Above the Town provides a
mix of the old with the new, performing music by the masters of bluegrass as well as original material.
In 2006, Above the Town was privileged to be one of thirteen bands selected to showcase
at the International Bluegrass Music
Association Trade Show in Nashville,Tennessee.
