Above the Town, Uphill
Climb
Our debut CD, Uphill Climb, is finally available. Recording this
project has been just that - an Uphill Climb.
Recording the tracks began in January of 2003, with a weekend session at a
lovely (but overly reverberant) space in East Troy. After several months
of mixing and re-mixing, and a lot of discussions about the quality of the
performance, we decided to scrap the material, and start fresh again.
Tracking for the current edition that can be heard on the CD began in
February of 2004, over a year after the project was officially begun. These
tracks proved to be far superior, and were recorded in a much more controlled
environment.
We worked very hard to make each instrument sound clear in the texture, but an
overall blend was very important. Attention to detail and extremely high
standards have led to a product that we are very proud to offer to our
fans and supporters.
Although it has truly been an Uphill Climb, we think you'll agree that
it was well worth the wait.
